Framed Box
This week’s 3D challenge over at Paper Craft Planet, 3d77 is a Framed Box, with an easy to follow template from the very clever Adela, of Creations by AR!
The frame part is really cute, in that you could slide a photo or a note into the front pocket, which is separate from the box!
I used Blue Awning K & Company Paper, Treat Your Self Stamp Set from Stampin’ Up! Always Artichoke, Pacific Point, Apricot Appeal Ink, Tim Holtz Stamp Set: Regal Flourish.
Good for a treat for a little gift. Be sure to check out the template & the other fun takes on this template.

Piano Pocket
So this is a challenge for this week’s Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge, #92, Napoleon Dynamite. To be completely honest, I have not seen the movie. I have seen clips of the movie, where he’s dancing on the stage. So I guess that’s where I was going with this interpretation … dancing…music…piano? Bad segway, but there ya go.
My card on the front, probably THE most plain card I have ever made.
Inside, it’s a Piano Pop UP Gift Card Pocket card! Whew, that was a mouthful.
Gift Card for coffee, baby!
The template is from Extreme Cards! No special cutters used, just an exacto knife & a ruler. Straight lines & the template. I did have some problems (as you can see) with Black Embossing Powder going EVERYWHERE. What a mess. I did my best to cover up the mess with brown CS.
You can still see a bit, but it is what it is.
And it POPS UP! Too much fun!
I did re-drawn Extreme Cards Template again in mirror, so that when I printed it out on the card stock, you wouldn’t see the lines. (once cut, just flip it over) Here ya go …

“Purse”-sonality!
This week’s 3D Challenge from Paper Craft Planet, 3d75, “Purse”-onality, is so darn cute! Adela provided us with a freebie template pattern to make it too!
I used some Martha Stewart paper, Embellishments: Creations by AR, Stamp: SU! Cercle D’Amitié, Ink: Certainly Celery, MM Brads. It was so quick to throw together.
Be sure to check out the 3d75 Album for more fun interpretations.

Making a Paper Frame
Well, I’m home with the 3 kids today, no day camps, no cottages, no buddies around, & a generally rainy day. Think of me will ya. The boys are making paper airplanes & Emma is drawing. I squeezed out a quick hour in the craft room to have a go with two challenges in 1. (Paper Craft Planet’s 3D Tuesday & Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge!)
The 3D Challenge, from Tammy, for 3D72, “You’ve Been Framed”.
This frame is made out of paper, using a template I found from the very clever Inna of Inna’s Creations.
The owl ‘Spin a mood’ in the middle, reminded me of those casino roulette tables that James Bond plays, so that’s where the second Challenge from Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge comes in CSCC89, Casino Royale! I don’t think the Flower is much of a silhouette, but I’m hoping I still kinda’ hit the challenge.
Be sure to check out other frame examples over at Paper Craft Planet!

Chairful Day
I must say, one of my favourite weekly challenges is Paper Craft Planet’s 3D Tuesday Challenge.
I have a thing for little boxes. Little favour boxes, little gifts to hold handmade goodies or just to dress up a little something.
This chair favour box is this week’s 3D67 challenge from Paper Craft Planet. Adela, of Creations by AR, provided the template for free this week. Couldn’t you see this dressed up a bit for a wedding or as a shower favour box?

Trigger Tuesday Halter
Moxie Fab’s Trigger Tuesday Challenge has come up with this Halter Top from Anthropology for a fun challenge this week.
I had some paper from Cosmo Cricket (Hello Sunshine) that reminded me a bit of this fabric, so that’s where I started.
Here’s my go with this trigger challenge:

Box It Up
This week’s 3D Challenge over at Paper Craft Planet is from Lori Tecler with, 3D65. Lori has a link for the free template on her blog.
Also, check out further details on the “3D65 Box It Up”, in the Tuesday 3D Challenge Group.
Notice the small “helping hands” in the photo … that’s Liam. As I type this, I’m pretty sure the bucket of jelly beans is being quality tested by him.
I can’t blame him, they’re tempting. He’s a jelly bean guy, like Dad.
The little bucket was from the Dollar store, just plain white, but that’s no fun, so I covered it with K & Co Berry Sweet Paper.
Okay, I need to check on my jelly bean monster right now.

Oh Happy Day
This Digi Stamp is from Paper Craft Planet’s Sketch sponsor, Karens Doodles.

Guy Tie
Here’s a really cute template for a Father’s Day Tie Box I found from Kimberley Morris (procrastistamper).
Kimberley provided a freebie pdf Tie Box Template here!
I used Stampin’ Up Patterned Paper, that reminded me of my own Dad’s ties. The ‘guy’ in our family is a Jelly Bean fan, so that’s probably what’ll go in this box.
Such a cute idea, thanks, Kimberley!

Shadow Box Goin’ Nuts
The 3D challenge this week is from Tammy for, 3D61, a Shadow box card . The super talented Tammy Hershberger has all the instructions & it’s really quick, easy, & fun to throw together. Give it a go & be sure to add it to Paper Craft Planet with the tag 3D61.
Here’s my go at it:
This is a stamp by Janet Dunn from Studio G. It came with the cute caption ‘totally nuts for you’, but this week with all of the kids activities in high gear for year end recitals/practices, I’ve been sick & the house looks like a bomb went off … I changed my mind of what I wanted the sentiment to say, so here it how myself & a couple of my close friends who are all in the same boat are feeling’ (in Wendy font) …
