Her Signature Colour

Well, I’m a day late with the ever so fun Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge.  I have been trying to figure out why my Sure Cuts A Lot Software isn’t working with my Mac … maybe it’s the upgraded Snow Leopard I have installed, I don’t know, but honestly it’s bugging me.  So one of my outs I love to do when I’m frustrated … CRAFT ROOM, BABY!  This weeks (well last week’s) Challenge, #56 was Legally Blonde.   Silly movie, watched it on You Tube.  Reece did a good job.

Here’s my card with Reese’s signature colour from the movie.  I used the Cricut Printing Cartridge 101 for the trophy & the Grad Hat, I cut out by hand, after frustration with SCAL.   I will get that thing working if it kills me.  Apparently there’s an upgrading coming out in November to help out with MAC users.

Used Starring You Stamp Set, White EP, Versamark Ink, Positively Pink CS, Water colour Paper, Cricut Printing Cartridge 101 (trophy), Jewels from my stash, dimensionals.

Thought I’d have some fun with another of Arielle’s Colour Q’s.  Not normally colours I would put together, but that’s the point of a challenge, right?  I must admit, I do LOVE Sage Shadow & Bordering Blue.  I do have a big pile of Night of Navy & the rarely used stamp pad, but the Durango I had to fudge.  Here’s this week’s Colour Q 5:

As always, still a bit gluey due to my impatience, but here’s my go with that flower pot inspiration.  I went with Kraft CS for the Neutral.

Used Punch Pals Stamp SU Stamp Set, Martha Stewart Pine Punch, Border Blue CS, Sage Shadow CS, Kraft CS (my neutral), Not Quite Navy Marker, Sage Shadow Ink, Brayer, Watercolour Paper, Versa Mark Ink, Clear Embossing Powder, Embossing Thread & Beads Glossy Accents Glue.

Christmas Inspired

Isn’t that too welcoming?  It’s the Paper Craft Planet Inspiration photo that Millie picked out for this week’s PCPcolor41 Challenge.

The colours we were to use were Muted Red, Vanilla & White & here’s my go at the challenge:

Thanks for the fun inspiration, Millie!

Used:  Vanilla CS, Stampin’ UP! Gross Grain Stripped Ribbon, Christmas Greetings & Tree Trimmings Stamp Sets, White EP, Versa Mark Ink, Corner Rounder.
