Booksmarks: a quick gift

I have missed quite a few of the challenges from Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge.  Not for lack of want, it’s just been so insane with full time school, full time everything.  Incase you’re wondering … 6 classes, 3 hours each + homework/tests, which always seems to take way longer.  Trying to reconnect with my advertising roots, but in the ePublishing side of things.  What can I say, it seemed like a good idea at the time.

I needed a wee break in the craft room today just to take a break & Cinema’s Challenge, #98, was just the thing.

I made a very quick bookmark, inspired by the “Midsummer Night’s Dream” play in the movie.  I love giving bookmarks.  They’re such a quick gift you can stick in a card & always used.

I used an embossed felt from Createology (Michaels).  The texture is wonderful in your hands.

Gotta go, the dog is a complete mud pup from romping around the yard with the neighbour dog.

Posted Twist

This week’s Tuesday 3D Challenge over at Paper Craft Planet, is 3D81–Posted Note Holder with a twist, from Susanna.

The idea came from Kimberly Crawford’s blog.  Be sure to check out her post for step by step instructions on this cute idea.

When I saw this challenge, I really wanted to give it a go, but didn’t get around to to until today.  When I finally sat down to work on it, it was so quick to throw together.  Love that!
