This week’s 3D Challenge from Paper Craft Planet 3D 179, is a twist on an old favourite. We’ve altered tins before, with 3d147, 3d76, 3d73, 3d33, 3d1, There may have been more as well I’m sure, but those are the ones that come to memory right now. This take on a tin alteration is a bit different in that it uses fabric as a method for closing the top. I saw this idea originally on Pinterest, from MissPetel.
You’ll need some material …
Clean the tin, but to make it easier, just keep the wrapper & use that to measure how much paper you’ll need to cover the tin.
The one difference I did with the tin, is to attach the fabric right to the bottom. I liked the inside of the tin being lined so that cookies or treats will not crumble as easily.
Okay that’s in there snug …
Tidy it up a bit & add your cookies! Have fun!
The winner is Jude … please contact Adela of Creations By AR for your prize!

The card is 3-dimensional & the barn opens up into a box for treats. Fun! I added a Stampin’ Up Tractor stamp on the front of the card. For the box, adding some texture with an embossing folder is always fun, just remember when you change the paper after it is cut, it changes the shape just ever so much smaller, so you may need to adjust, if you use this technique.
The Creations by AR Design Team Members came up some wonderful takes on these templates. Visit their sites, leave a note to be entered into the hop for more chances to win.
ONE random winner will be chosen per blog. Each winner will receive ONE of the new templates of their choice.
Thanks so much to Adela for hosting this hop!
Hope everyone is having a great summer. We’ve been going non stop around here since June, either having company over for visits or out on holiday. Spinning, we’ve been absolutely spinning, but in a good way. We’ve also enjoyed a bunch of movies this summer … well except for magic Mike & my friend already apologized for bringing me to that one. The kids have had a few movie nights with friends at the house & have a few more coming up before the summer ends. I thought a quick & fun for this week’s 3D Challenge at Paper Craft Planet, 3d177, might be this cute little Popcorn Box from One Charming Party.
Here’s my go with it …
Have some fun with this one & remember, it doesn’t have to be filled with popcorn … this template would be great to welcome overnight guests with shampoos & toothpastes or birthday gift card & candy or whatever. It’s just a cute template.
