Kristina Werner’s Colour Inspiration #11
Here is Kristina’s Colour Inspiration #11. Had another tough time … I think it’s the 5 colours, as opposed to 4. Ahh well, without challenge there is no growth, yes?
The colours were pulled from IKEA, a store that I love to go & my dh loathes. Something about being herded around like cattle. Blah, blah, blah, it’s cheap & has unique stuff.
Here is the image of the bedroom and the corresponding S.U. Colours:
I sorta’ cheated for using all the colours. I used my Stamping Quad (for a marble effect). So the Colours are there, they just REALLY tiny. The Circle Trim idea, I cut them out à la JeNN, (CI#2) she has some wonderful ideas … stop by there.
I can’t find one example of the quad so here’s what it looks like & here’s a separate picture of the rubber images I used. Here’s what the quad gave me (raided with the 1″ punch & rounded slit punch):
Here is my card … heavy on the white, (as per the parameters), I’m hoping I broke up my ‘bold on the white’ with some texturing with the Cuttlebug Embossing folders (used with Sizzix machine):
Check out Kristina’s Round up next week. The entries are a blast to see what everyone comes up with.

Thanks for the shout out! I would never have thought to wrap those circles around the oval. How clever. As always, you take a simple idea and “kick it up a notch” BAM!!!!!! lol Love it! Mahalo, jenn
