Glitta’ Pins

Here’s a fun Colour Inspiration from Kristina Werner, number 29!  Be sure to check out her photo of a Vegas clothes rack from H & M.  Wild colours, but I’ll do my best.  I just noticed, however, that I used Tempting Turquoise instead of Taken with Teal.  Oh & also I think this looks more like Eggplant Envy (S.U. retired) rather than Elegant Eggplant.  Okay, it’s the thought that counts.  I’ll get another coffee in a minute.

Well these are the colours we were SUPPOSE to use:

and

I used some Baby Boy Safety Pins as the base for the flower.  I also had problems working the pumpkin pie in again this week, so I just used a wee bit with Cross Stitch Thread.

Here’s my card.

For more fun interpretations, check out Kristina’s awesome Blog.  KWERNERDESIGN.

Used:  Pacific Point CS, Tempting Turquoise CS, Eggplant CS, Kelly Panacci Full Circle, Elegant Eggplant Ink sponged on flowers, Lerman Decor 109 Embroidery Cross Stitch Floss, Big Purple Glitter (stash of the kids, probably from Dollar Store), Corner Punch, Circle Punch, Cuttlebug Embossing folder, Baby Boy Safety Pins, Sizzix Flower Punch, Tombo Glue, Fixative, Sticky Tape (to hold Safety Pins).
