It’s Friday! It’s the Sneak Peek for Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge. I love that Sankari & Brooke are making these Sneaks so much fun to figure out. Here’s the Peek:
I sorta thought it might be a cartoon toaster, & with American Thanksgiving coming up, I thought Charlie Brown’s Thanksgiving. I noticed that Arielle had thought that too (confirmed!), so I went with it. Hope it’s right.
So I didn’t have any Charlie Brown Stamps … gasp … normally I have some “kids stamps” that I have picked up at the Michael’s clearout section for a $1, but alas no. So I took a print out off of the web of Woodstock.
I traced around his print out lines with a Versa Mark Marker & then some Detail Black Embossing powder & heat set. Then I took the Versa Mark Ink Pad & dabbed & chalked the Yoho Yellow on for his feathers. His Turkey Tail Feathers are Scallop Circle Punches (cut in pie like shapes) in Eggplant, Rust, Summer Sun, Yoho Yellow & Mustard.
Okay, so this is one of my last pictures with my Nikon D80. My baby, okay after my 3 darling children, my baby Nikon that I was given for my birthday last year, was also injured in the fall yesterday. I must tell you as I looked through the lens to take this picture it was filled with shrapnel from my beloved lens (kaputz.) I’m taking my baby in to get a check up & cleaning. Sigh. But not unlike Woodstock’s countless feathers here, I am filled with blessings abundant to get over the ‘bummer parts’.
Here’s my card:
