Flying with Joy

So I saw the Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge Friday Sneak Peek had a blast reading all the comments & guesses. Had some fun doing “research” on what movie the girls took the photo. Wow, tuffy, but like the guessing.

If you haven’t tried playing this creative challenge, you hafta! Too much fun!

This week’s Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge #10 is from Harry Potter & the Philosopher’s Stone. I’m not sure which Potter book that is, and honestly, I don’t know all that much about it. I know that they wear burgandy & yellow scarves & school outfits that look like tiny judges. I also ‘know’ in one of the movies there is a flying ball in a game of Quidditch called the ‘Golden Snitch’. That right? Anyways with this little bit of knowledge I played the CSCC game!

So like I said, I went with the school colours & the golden snitch ball on a Christmas card. Honestly, such a stretch I’m not sure what I think of it, but it was fun to make.

I used Gold paper (Grafix Gold film) cut & embossed in a circle Nestability an owl stamp (for the wings) from the Stamp Barn, Galaxy Gold Brilliance Tsukineko Ink, Inkadinkado clear stamps (Warm Holiday Wishes).

Off to check out the other fun interpretations at CSCC, SplitCoaststampers, & PaperCraftPlanet. Thanks for the fun, Sankari & Brooke & all the participants at CSCC!

This is gorgeous! Love how you took your bit of inspiration and ran with it (Don’t worry, I don’t know much about Harry Potter either). Great job with the challenge! :D

  • Love that gold foil paper.
This is also a movie I am not familiar with, so I don’t know if I could have done much else with the challenge.
