Rosey Emma
Firstly, Happy Valentines Day!
Secondly, Happy Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge Reveal Day … okay, so that happens (thankfully) weekly! This week’s CSCC#19 was Emma! I don’t think anybody guessed from the Sneak Peeks. Tough.
Well, hmm besides being quite partial to the name (my daughter, Emma, named after my Nan), Emma the movie, Jane Austen had Emma writing in her diary quite a bit & surrounded by flowers, either inside or outside. So, I thought I’d make a flower pen. I saw the idea for this ribbon Flower on Martha Stewart. Mine looks nothing like the crafter they had on the show, but I think it still resembles a flower & well, why not stick it on a pen.
It’s about a yard of ribbon and the DSP (holiday treasures) is just stuck on with that super sticky tape (you know the one with the red peel? That stuff holds everything, even ribbon.
Thanks for the fun inspiration, ladies! Be sure to check out other fun interpretations at Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge or Paper Craft Planet, code cinemasaturday.
Used: Martha Stewart Moiré 1 1/2″ Ribbon, Fishing line (to stitch the flower bud), SU Holiday Treasure DSP, Kiwi Kiss CS, Oval Punch, Letters from Friends (SU retired) stamp, Stazon Red Ink & a pen, Sizzix Birds & Blooms Die cut (for leaves), super stick tape & a pen.

Hi Amy
What a lovely idea, and so indictive of Jane Austin’s times, when letter writing and writing journals was a daily occurance. It’s great to see something different too, so well done!
