Trying Not to Look like a Sympathy Card.

Time for Kristina Werner’s Colour Inspiration, #45.  A Black/White/&Basic Grey Card.  Hmmmm, had a rough go with this challenge, as it seems to me to look a bit like a ’sympathy’ card … not what I was going for in a ‘thanks for your friendship’ card.

I used Tim Holtz  ”Weathered Wood” Ranger Distressing Ink, which is really close to Basic Grey IMO.  I don’t own a basic Grey Ink Pad & there was do way I was going to colour it all in in my BG marker.  I also used some EK Success Sticko Dimensional Stickers. The Stamp Set is from Cornish Heritage Farms called “Scrapblocks Old Typewriter 6×6inch stamp“.  The Sentiment is from SU Friendly Words, on the Stampin’ Wheels.  The ribbon is just 5/8″ Opal Gray by Offray, Basic Black CS, Basic Grey CS, White CS, Dimensionals, Black Ink, White Button, Super Sticky Tape.  The card is 5″ square.
