Tuesday & time for a 3-D challenge from Paper Craft Planet. The 3D6 challenge is to make a Cup Cake box.  Susanna provided the very easy to follow instructions.  (* I did add the extra 1/2 inch to make the lid 5″x5″square, as per the addendum instructions & that worked much better than just the 5″x5″ for me).

For colours, I decided to dig into my big stash of unloved Purple Hues.  I’m not a big purple fan, but why not.

I looked at the size of it & thought it might be a bit short for a cupcake … I like my Icing BIG so I thought I’d just fill it with chocolates & give it to my friend who seems to be having a really challenging week.

I didn’t have acetate for the see-thru cover, so I just used the packaging from my cover-stock paper.  It’s really thick, but it did have a funny purple pattern on it.  Ah well.
