Guess How Much I Love …
Seriously, how much fun are these 3 D Challenges at Paper Craft Planet! This week’s 3d7 challenge was to decorate Easter Eggs. That was on my list of fun “to dos” this week. The kids & I will work on some more this week together.
I used yellow food dye, with just a few drops of red, in water & vinegar. I only took out one of the eggs, because I was hoping that the colour would deepen over night. We’ll see.
I was sorta hopin’ for a ‘Guess How Much I Love You’ bunny type egg. Wendy was SO RIGHT about choose a small stamp. It’s figity to stamp if the stamp has to roll onto the egg. Never the less I used SU (retired)’s ‘Miracle of Spring’ ’cause he’s a cute bunny.
Did I mention that it’s difficult to roll a larger stamp around on an egg? Here’s the other side of the egg, where I messed up on the Sentiment:
Like I said, I have a few more Eggs that I’m hoping will darken the longer I leave it in the solution, but for now, I managed to get the one egg stamped for the fun challenge.
Used: Food Dye & Vinegar, Miracle of Spring (SU! Retired), Timber Brown Stazon Ink, Olive Stazon Ink, Mellow Moss & Pretty in Pink SU Markers, E39 & E44 Copic Markers, AquaPainter, Egg.

Wow!!! This turned out incredibly! I love that bunny stamp that you used and im awe of the great impression you got. Absolutely stunning!!!
OMG! This is so cute!!!! I’m definitely going to try this today. I wonder if the photopolymer stamps will work better because you can mold them… off to see!
Fabulous, and it looks just like Little Nutbrown Hare!
