The elves have been here again.

One of my favourite stories as a child was the ‘Elves & the Shoemaker’ & I kinda’ feel like one of the Elves with the Paper Shoes I’ve been making lately.  LOL.  I have been dyin’ to try a shoe card ever since I saw Sam’s Wizard of Oz Shoe for one of Cinema Saturday Creative Challenges.  When I saw this weeks Paper Craft Planet Challenge, 3d12, Shoe Envy, this “Birkenstock-only-wearin’ girl” had to give it a go.

I saw the idea for it at Cathie Shuttleworth’s site with this template as a guide.  I enlarged it a bit, but it still only used up less than half of an 8.5×11 CS.

I added some straps, with ribbon & a big of bling.

How easy was that?  Cut & use super sticky tape.  Honestly, don’t know why I waited so long to try it.

I covered the bottom of the shoe up to tidy it up a bit.

That’s all folks.  I have not an iota of an idea what I would use this for, but I had a blast making it.

Used:  Glittery Navy CS from Heather’s Stamping Haven, here in Ottawa.  Gemstone stickers, Multi Crafts Imports Ribbon, Super Sticky Tape & Template.

  • My goodness…you are on fire with creativity! These shoes would be cute decorations at a girl’s night out party.

The baby shoes in the previous post are ADORABLE! I’m tagging that to remember in case I need to host a baby shower for anyone. They would also make great decorations. Good job, Amy!

  • EEEEK! to cute. Love it.
