Fun with Colour.
This week’s Paper Craft Planet Colour Inspiration, pcpcolor18, posted by Millie Dawson-Hardy, were this bright & cheery bed linens. Not sure where from but colourful. I don’t think I could sleep in that bed, for fear that one of those buttons would clock me on the head at night, if they fell off, but I love the look of it. Maybe in the sewing room. :)
I used my Cricut Cutter with the Home Accents Cartridge, Set at 3.5″ & 4.5″ I believe. Here’s my go at it:
I have to laugh, as this is not how I wanted the card to turn out, but between helping Liam with his painting (& oodles of tempera paint) and my issues with the red marker. I had to trim it down, a lot, & rework it to salvage it.
I used some heavy stock vellum, you can’t tell, but it’s a bit see through, so I had to cut out two celery butterflies, one for the front &
one for the inside, to hide the dimensional adhesives.
Used: Sweet Little Sentiments Stamp Set, Real Red Marker, So Swirly Stampin’ Wheel SU, Cricut Cutter, Home Accents Cartridge, White Vellum CS, Buttons from my Stash, More Mustard CS, White CS, Certainly Celery CS, Corner Rounder, Versa Mark Ink, Mustard Embossing Powder (SU Retired), Dimensionals.

What a great card. I love the butterfly inside, even though it is there to mask the adhesive, it adds such a bit of whimsy.
Absolutely Gorgeous!! Did you download to PCP?
