Margaritas
Paper Craft Planet’s Colour Inspiration, PCPcolor19, inspiration photo was so bright & cheery.
The candied fruit caught my eye & somewhere in the back of my brain I had remembered seeing something that I wanted to try. I hit SplitCoastStampers to jog my brain & find the links that I CASED. I got the ideas from here (from stampinhappy) for the bleaching & clear embossing technique and here(from stampin_n_sc) for the glass idea.
The Cup is adhered with Super Sticky Tape (so you can puff it out a bit) on Vellum that I had coloured (on the wrong side/back side of Vellum) with Wild Wassabi Ink. I also used some White Embossing Powder for the sugar at the top of the drink. The Technique itself, is stamp in bleach, let dry & then clear emboss over top. The photo doesn’t show it well, but it glissens a bit.
And yes, I quite like Margaritas on Hot Summer Days.
