Quilted Inspiration

Paper Craft Planet’s Colour Inspiration, #23, (tag: pcpcolor23) comes from Pine Is Here, who found this fun clip from a Japanese Sewing Magazine.

For the challenge, I had a tough time putting that many colours together:

kraft, ( the color of cardboard)
vanilla ( the color of French vanilla ice cream)
mellow moss ( a bluish green but not a teal or turquoise)
Celery (a light olive green)
Saffron (a light yellow)
mustard (an earthy yellow)
cocoa (a medium brown)

I’m not that fond of the card, probably the mustard on the wings, but I got the challenge completed.  This is my go:

Used:  Martha Stewart PP, Mellow Moss CS, Certainly Celery textured CS, More Mustard CS, Kraft CS, Close to Cocoa DSP, Tim Holtz Grunge Board, Scallop Punch, word window Punch, Close to Cocoa Marker, More Mustard EP, Versamark Ink, Copic CO Cool Grey Marker, Lots of Thoughts Stamp Set, Sewing Machine, Flower Mandala 1 Stamp from OutlinesRubberStampCo, Michaels PP (Paperbilities Autumn Leaves Kaleidoscope Printed Paper), Mellow Moss Ink, Certainly Celery Ink.
