Five Sided Favours

I’m hosting Paper Craft Planet’s 3D Tuesday Challenge this week & I thought we’d play with a free template.  I’m hoping you’ll enjoy trying out 3D56, Five Sided Favours challenge.  It’s just small to put in chocolates, candies, or chamomile tea :D

So I used a free template from Timeless Treasure Trunk.  Which I printed out & then stuck onto Martha Stewart Patterned Paper & cut & scored.  Easy Peasy & very quick, I must say.  I doesn’t take up a lot of paper & all the cuts are STRAIGHT, woo-hoo, so you could make a bunch of these.

I made the template a bit more printer friendly, but it is the SAME gorgeous template from the clever folks at Timeless Treasure Trunk.  I found it was easier to size it up on the printer in this format:

And here it is again.  Great for Wedding/Bridal Shower Favours, small gifts, whatever, just cute, almost like a small hat box:

Be sure to upload your basket weaving to the Paper Craft Planet site.  Never tried uploading a photo to Paper Craft Planet?  Here’s a step-by-step tutorial for adding photos to the PCP Gallery.  Once their in the gallery & TAGGED with 3d56, I can find them & add them to the 3d56 album! Don’t forget to link it back here to this discussion so we can all see it!

Used:  Martha Stewart PP, Friend to Friend SU Stamp Set, Chocolate Chip Ink, Circle Punch, Flowers, Dimensionals, buttons, Pearl Twist Tie, Paper Piercer.

  • Hi. You have a really awesome site!

I love the look of this little box. I have a question, that may be very silly. Is the template you provided when I
double clicked on the link, the proper size? Please let me know.

The template, is made to print out on 8 1/2 x 11 printer, but you can size it to whatever size you
want, just size the top & bottom to match. The original template over at Timeless Treasure Trunk
http://timelesstreasuretrunk.com/freetemplates/pentagonbox.html seemed small to me, but like I
mentioned I just sized it up a bit to print out to fill a regular print out page, using print preview.
Does that make sense? (you’ll need to size it up is the long & short of it).
