Girly Box
Time for a challenge from The Cinema Saturday Creative Folks. This week, #82 is the 2010 movie of Alice in Wonderland. I really wanted to make a teapot for this one, but I can’t wrap my head around the template that I have in my brain. I have a request into a friend who is a template making guru, so I’m hoping she can make it. IN the mean time, I just made a VERY quick dress favour Box in illustrator & cut out on my small Cricut machine with the help of Sure Cuts a Lot Software.
Nothing fancy, but I think it would be cute for bridal showers or a little girls party.
For now, I just put in a bit of … what else … tea.
Here’s the template, if you want. 2 of my 3 kids think it looks more like a bear or mickey mouse ears, but they’re tough on me at times. My middle son thought it definitely looked like a dress … Somebody’s getting a raise in their allowance

LOL! Kids are tough critics. I stopped asking for opinions because the Dh just shrugs and my youngest usually doesn’t have anything nice to say.
Super sweet template and project!!!
Hello….I really love this little dress box. So perfect for a party that I am planning. Can you please tell me the approximate measurements of the finished box. Really appreciate that. Thanks and regards from Germany, Maxie *Ü*
Hi Maxie,
Thanks for your kind comments.
I sized down the template a bit from my original drawing, so that I could
cut it out on my small cricut. Of the sized down version …
The “Girly Box” is approximately (finished) 8 cm tall by 6.5 cm wide
at the base. In inches, what is that? approximately 3″ by 2″.
Blessings,
Amy.
This is sweet Amy. Such an “Alice” dress -adorable!
