The template I used is called “Home Tweet Home” it’s this adorable little bird cage that you could put goodies in or little love birds, like I did:
The DSP paper is from Stampin’ Up! as well as the little die cut birds. The square scalloped bottom is using some nestabilities:

The beauty thing that I love about Digi Files is that you can size it to WHATEVER you want. I sized mine to 50%, because I was low on pink paper & voilà:
I tied mine a bit different than the template. The box style Adela designed is so sturdy, it could handle being “sewn” with Raffia:
You can put whatever goodies you want & tie it up securely.

I have that same embellishment, although mine doesn’t have a clip on the back. I have a big bag of embellishments that were meant to be used on fabric, but you have opened my eyes to a whole new use for them. I really wouldn’t have thought to use them for paper crafting, but it totally works! That bird cage and dress template could be used in so many different ways~the possibilities are pretty much endless depending on the paper you use. In fact, you could probably use the dress template with fabric to make it even more elegant.

Amy, This is the second time I’ve tried this so I hope you don’t receive 2 of these. I am so very impressed with your creations. I know the idea of this blog hop is to view the 3D Valentine themed items, but I am in the process of starting my own blog and I am looking at all of them I can find to get ideas for mine. When I looked at your card section I was really impressed. I know you are really busy, in fact I don’t know how you can get done all you do, but if you have time to answer me. Can you tell me how I may get involved with the group with the movie challenges? That is up my alley involving 2 of my passions. Thanks again for sharing your work.
