This week’s Tuesday 3D challenge at Paper Craft Planet, 3d207, is an Easter Bunny Basket.  I’ve been doing some work at the preschool lately & looking up crafts for kids … FUN!  This one I found, although, I do no believe the little ones have the dexterity to cut out this bunny … but it would be fun to give them little treats in it!

It’s a free template from the Easter Colouring blog.

It fits “two egg size” worth of treats.

I added a few details to the template:  the interior pink of the ear and the belly.  It’s quite cute without, so wherever you want to take the template is up to you.

The template from Creations By AR that I chose was the Totally Tote-Able.  With the freezing rain storm we’ve had here, I was inspired to make an icy look, by adding glass beads.  I also punched out the bottom of the template and added some holly leaves at the top.  Quick & easy.

With all of the baked goods & sweets being given out, I think this would come in handy!

I cut these templates with my Cricut cutter (& sure cuts a lot software).  The SVG is scalable, so that’s what I did, I proportionately sized it down 60% for a smaller version.

COMFY SOFA GIFT BOX

PAPA’S TRUNK

Here’s what I made with the COMFY SOFA GIFT BOX template:

This template, can be converted into a sofa/chesterfield/couch or just the chair.

The chair has a compartment that pulls out.

For a gift box.  I thought what might be a good gift for the gadgety dad, is a USB stick with a photo slide show of favourite photos for his computer screen saver.

Oh yes, & don’t forget the remote on the chair.

The second template I made was:  PAPA’S TRUNK

The SVG, is of course, scalable.  So I brought mine down to 50% of actual size.

There’s a little paper lock included in the template.

That is used as a label here.

I made mine from white CS & then put an embossing folder to get the raised metal impression, and then dragged silver ink pads over it.

Here’s the back … I used tiny eyelets to hold the paper hinges.

I had these tiny tools from the dollar store … totally worked for this “Delta Tool Box Truck Box” project.

Wee hammer.

And that’s it!

Here’s a cute little Template, called Hat’s Off, from Creations By AR.

The fun thing about this template is that it holds treats for a friend … in this case, we’re giving the neighbours a little rainbow along with some cookies!

The first one is called Craft Hutch.

My MIL had brought these wee little bottles back from Scotland last year.  When I saw Adela’s template, which looks identical to my Dining Room Hutch, I knew exactly what I wanted to use it for.

I slipped some cotton into the test tube to hold the little bottle in place.  Fits just right.

The second template I have made to show you is the “ES in the Bag”:

There are two templates in this one, a scalloped edge & a hexagonal.  Both are lovely, but my fav is the hexagonal.

A sweet little purse.

This week’s 3D challenge at Paper Craft Planet, 3D128, is making a Butterfly Gift Box.
It’s a cute free design from Paper Craft Printable prepared by Paper Craft Art Creative hinging closed at the wings.

Open it up & voilà, resealable.

There’s an inside flap …

This little gift box could hold some treats or whatever.
