It’s a Valentine Blog Hop hosted by Creations By AR!
Each of the Design Team are part of the hop to give away two new templates: Shadow Box Frame & Surprise Purse.
Come visit all the DT’s:
Amy –> that’s me! And here’s what I made to show you …
The fun thing about this shadow box, is you can put anything in it to personalize it:
The second template is a cute surprise purse. Now the beauty of Adela’s templates is they are not only adorable, but sizeable. The unmodified size, fits a gift card, but if you size it down to 50% you get a barbie purse … WAH!
This would be fun to give the the little Valentine girl in your home!

How do you enter into this giveaway? Just leave a comment for your chance to win.
Winners will be announced Thursday! Be sure to visit all the Design Team’s blog & leave a message of love. Each blog will give away BOTH new templates.
Special thanks to Adela of Creations By AR for these adorable templates!

Gift Card Gift Holder
So, I admit it, we do a fair number of gift cards for some neices/teachers that we’re not totally sure what to buy. It took me a while to get over the idea that gift certificates weren’t all that personal of a gift … they totally are … do they like books? coffee? wine? (well not for the nieces, my brother would rightfully raise an eyebrow). What if you take the time to make the gift card look special? I think that can be the fun part.
Here’s a rather simple gift card holder (free cut) to look like a pressie:
The larger eyelet acts as a hinge on one side to open up to the gift certificate.
It was free cut, two peices of CS & then covered with Patterned paper. I made a little “U” shape on the inside of the CS, with Terrifically Tacky Tape, & the Gift Card slides right in that pocket.
Helllllllooooooo
Time for Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge #52, Mrs. Doubtfire. Very funny (I think Robin Williams is just one of the funniest guys on the planet). I really wanted to do something with the “Drive by Fruiting” line, but couldn’t get my spinner card rolling right.
Nothing fancy, just my “Pocket Card” for the challenge:
Just big enough for a gift card.
Used: Actopus to Zelephant K & Company Designer Mat Pad, Mellow Moss CS, Ric Rac from Multi craft Imports, Martha Stewart Edge Punch, 1″ Circle Punch SU.
Scalloped Envy
Time for Paper Craft Planet’s 3D challenge: 3d27-Scalloped Envy.
Fun & Quick!
I used Nesties (Labels Four) and PP from “me & my Big Ideas” called ‘Fashion District’. (Mat Pad) CS: Mellow Moss textured & Bashful Blue, Punches 3 Stamp Set, Scalloped Square Punch & Chocolate Chip Ink.
A Year In Cards: Gift Cards.
This was a template from a Year in Cards June 2009, tutorial by Garden Girl, Kristina Werner over at Two Peas. I absolutely have to give it a go, because Kristina’s templates are wonderful for gift cards-perfect for this time of year.
Here’s my take on her tutorial:
Used: Kraft CS SU, K & Company Que Sera Sera, Bobbin Ribbon 5/8″ 4ft Tape Measure Ebony, Momenta Puffy Stickers, Fiskars Scallop Punch.
