I saw the MoxieFabWorld Blog & it’s Tuesday Trigger: I Feel Pretty in Turquoise & Gold colour fun colour Challenge & I couldn’t resist. Isn’t this such a pretty & inspiring photo from Decor Pad via House of Turquoise:
I had some Stampin’Up! Craft CS, a Designer Mat Pad Papers from Ancestry K & Company as well as my ‘new’ (new to me) toy of Making Memories Grommet Kit & I went to town. The stamps set is also from SU, called In the Spotlight, used the VersaMark Ink & Detail White EP. The Twill tape is from my sewing stash & the Punch is the Martha Stewart Doily Lace Edge Punch.
Time for Paper Craft Planet’s 3D Tuesday Challenge! This week’s 3D45 is from Kim Burmeister, with a wonderful idea for a family Journal! She also has the very Green Idea to reuse card board & rescue it from the recycle bin. Love it!
I must admit, when I saw her grommets she used, I really liked the look of it. So I went out, equipped with my 40% off Michaels coupon & when looking for Grommets for the Crop-a-dile. Couldn’t find any BUT picked up a Making Memories Grommet Kit. BIG Grommets! Easy to use. Loud, when at the punch with a hammer, but easy to use.
Here’s the inside. I covered up a fish cracker box, with mitred cornered DSP Manchester Paper, but left the card board inside, because I liked it.
Oh, & incase you’re wondering why you shouldn’t use traditional key rings, rather than those open & close latch key rings … two words … SCRATCHES & FRUSTRATION for putting it together! What can I say, next time, I’ll know better.
Be sure to check out this week’s 3D45 Album to see what everyone comes up with!

This week’s Colour Q Challenge, #8, is a very festive one. We have a couple of Birthdays here before Christmas, so normally leave our decorating until later in December, but I must admit, I’m humming Christmas tunes every now & again. Here’s the inspiration photo from Arielle:
Here’s my go with the challenge. Silver is a neutral, right? ;)
Used: Cuttlebug Embossing folder, Burgandy CS, Always Artichoke DSP, Buttons from my stash, White CS, Silver Ribbon from Michaels, Making Memories Shimmer Alpha Stickers, Mini Glue Dots.
