So the PaperCraftPlanet 3D Challenge this week is a brilliant of a Budget Organizer. Start the year fresh! Love it. 3d43, is made from envelope templates (free) & tutorial from Kelleigh Ratzlaff. I used K&Co Blue Awning 2 sided PP & the Bind-It-All.
Here are the patterned papers I used … Heavy CS from K & Company.
I don’t have one of those wallets, like Susanna, that would fit this, so I used velcro adhesive to attach the twill tape.
Give it a go, this week! You don’t need to have the bind-it-all, you could just use a Crop-a-dile, or hole punch or whatever! Use that pretty paper you’ve been holding onto, that’s what it’s for!
This is for Paper Craft Planet’s 3D Challenge, Plan on It, 3d40. Hope Stamps Eternal as the 3D sponsor for this week, so not only can you make this quick and easy holiday planner — you can win a prize too! Check it out at Paper Craft Planet.
Susanna had made her stunning Christmas organizer out of a notebook she picked up from Target. We don’t have a target here in Canada, although probably could have gone to T. Géant Boutique or Walmart. So I went with the accordion fold.
Okay, so I’m all about making lists & planning. This year, as nutty as it’s been, today is the day I’m doing the lists! Just got off the phone with my neighbour & we have developed a strategy for getting on top of Christmas (trading off babysitting to get to shopping around work & kids schedules). I LOVE the idea of a Christmas planner! It took me about 20 minutes to make the planner, & probably another 20 minutes to fill in the “lists”, but I feel I’ve not got a plan to tackle the mountain, thanks, Susanna!
I got the idea for the lists in an altoid tin from Andrea Walford.
The lists include:
Letters to Mail (Canada/USA/Int’l: no counting envelopes in line at the post office)
Family Gifts (Store to Find It/Cost)
Teachers’ Gifts (Store to Find it/Cost)
Gatherings & Baking (Ingredients Needed)
Packages to Mail (Canada/US/Int’l)
“S” Stuffers (Store to Find it/Cost)
1 Spare pocket
Place for the check list pen!
